This is a guide to safely signal junctions in the game.

Simple Junctions[edit]

There are two very basic rules that you can follow, that will make signalling your junction very easy and protect these from train crashes:

  1. Place a path signal at the entrance of a junction, in front of the branch (exceptions will follow)
  2. Place a balise at the exit of a junction

The order is WP

1. Branching line[edit]

If you have a junction that looks the following:

You want to first place the path signals at the entrances of the junction: (place them a little bit in front of the branching point, as trains have an additional 30m hitbox in front of them)

Then you want to place the balises at the exits of the junction: (you can place the balise directly after the junction, but it would be better to place it at least one train length after the junction)

Special case: a single tracked branch line

2. Scissors ? (unsure if It's own point)[edit]
